Final Products- Double Page Spread

I didn’t change that much on my page spread, as I thought that adding anything extra would take away the focus of the image used. However, I have changed a few things based on the feedback I received:

I have made the corners stand out more by changing the page numbers so that they are bolder, attracting the attention of the readers and encouraging them to carry on reading.

I have changed the sub-heading to a black font so that it doesn't draw attention away from the other features of my spread.

I have altered the title so that it is the same design as both my contents page and my front cover. This links all of my products together, allowing them to flow.

Final Products- Contents Page

After receiving a number of feedback tips on my contents page I have changed the following things:

I have changed the title making it bigger and modified it to look more like my front cover title, linking all of the products together.

I have made all of the contents text black, making it easier to read and allowing the focus of the page to be drawn towards the three images used.

I have made the page number bolder in the corner making it stand out more and drawing the reader to the rest of the magazine.

I have slightly altered the size and positioning of the "win" section, as it took up too much of the attention before. I want it to stand out, but not to take up the overall attention of my contents page.

Final Products- Front Cover

After receiving feedback I have changed a number of things on my front cover:
I have changed some of the text colour to white so that the cover looks brighter.

I have added a banner at the bottom of the page with bands names on it to break up the page and attract the reader’s attention to the other things inside the magazine.

I have changed the title of the magazine so that the red is bolder and stands out more attracting the reader’s attention.

I have flipped the barcode round at the bottom and made it smaller so that it looks more realistic in relation to my front cover.

Feedback On My Double Page Spread

Ashleigh- I like how you have used the big picture for the spread, it looks very professional and I like how the text goes across the curtain. I think that you need to make the corners bolder though because I can’t really see the page numbers.

Alex- I love this page but I don’t know if there is enough text used? You could make the image smaller or move it over to the side so that there is more room for text.

Hamish- I really like this page but the corners seem wasted, you could make them more useful by putting features on them like what is on the next page or something?

Perry- The quote used on this page is a different style to the rest of the titles used across your products, you should probably change this because it looks unprofessional and lazy.

Feedback On My Contents Page.

Ashleigh- I like how the contents page links to the front cover, but I think that it might be too dark. I like how you have made certain aspects of the interviews stand out though.

Alex- I love the images that you have used but I think that your page numbers in the bottom corner could be bolder because I can’t really see them. I like the colour scheme on this page as well.

Hamish- I don’t like the contents page that much, I like what you have put on it, but like the front cover I just think something is not right. You could change the layout to see if it helps?

Perry- I like the title of the contents page, it ties in well with the other two products, but I don’t like the images you have used. They just seem a bit unprofessional.

Feedback On My Front Cover

Ashleigh- I like the bold image used but the rest of the front cover seems to fade into the background a bit. I think it would look better if you used some different colours other that just black.

Alex- I agree with Ash, but I think that your title needs to be bolder as well. I like the way you have put the artists name in front of the image, it looks better than it did before.

Hamish- I really like your front cover, but I think that it looks a little plain like something is missing. Other than that it looks really good.

Perry- The layout of the front cover is good, but I don't like how you have used so much black text, it makes everything seem dark and gloomy.
